Fifth Grade Homeschool Record Keeping
Although some states are less
strict than others, it is always important to keep track of your records. Start
off by creating an attendance chart. Again, states vary on this but 180 days is
pretty standard. Next, you'll need a list of all the curriculum you plan to use
for the year. List the publisher next to the name. Add anything you use to
supplement the materials learned in the curriculum to this page as well. For
example, if you are learning about the Civil War in one of your history books,
list the Civil War unit study you did in addition to the chapter. Finish off
your record keeping with a notebook used to record what information you covered
each day and how much time was spent on it.
