Fifth Grade Extra Curricular Activities

Homeschooling doesn't mean you have to stay at home every day. There are lots of activities outside of the school day that you can take part in. Call your local recreation center to find out if there are any sports teams forming. Most libraries also have plenty of free programs for kids to attend after school. You could sign-up for piano lessons, take an art class, join a youth bowling league, or take part in a beauty pageant, play, or musical. Some towns also have gardening clubs for kids, karate classes, 4-H clubs, girl scouts, and boy scouts you can join after school is finished for the day.
